¶ The sonnes of Iapheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

בְּנֵ֣י יֶ֔פֶת גֹּ֣מֶר וּ/מָג֔וֹג וּ/מָדַ֖י וְ/יָוָ֣ן וְ/תֻבָ֑ל וּ/מֶ֖שֶׁךְ וְ/תִירָֽס

And the sonnes of Gomer: Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

¶ The sonnes of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

And the sonnes of Cush: Siba, and Hauilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sonnes of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.

And Pathrusim, and Casluhim (of whome came the Philistines) and Caphthorim.

And Arphaxad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.

וְ/אַרְפַּכְשַׁ֖ד יָלַ֣ד אֶת שָׁ֑לַח וְ/שֶׁ֖לַח יָלַ֥ד אֶת עֵֽבֶר

And vnto Eber were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg, (because in his dayes the earth was diuided) and his brothers name was Ioktan.

Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,

And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

¶ Now the sonnes of Keturah, Abrahams Concubine: she bare Zimran, and Iokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sonnes of Iokshan, Sheba, and Dedan.

And the sonnes of Midian: Ephah, and Ephar, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sonnes of Keturah.

וּ/בְנֵ֣י מִדְיָ֗ן עֵיפָ֤ה וָ/עֵ֨פֶר֙ וַ/חֲנ֔וֹךְ וַ/אֲבִידָ֖ע וְ/אֶלְדָּעָ֑ה כָּל אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י קְטוּרָֽה

And Abraham begate Isaac. The sonnes of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.

The sonnes of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

And the sonnes of Lotan: Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotans sister.

The sonnes of Shobal: Atian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sonnes of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.

בְּנֵ֣י שׁוֹבָ֔ל עַלְיָ֧ן וּ/מָנַ֛חַת וְ/עֵיבָ֖ל שְׁפִ֣י וְ/אוֹנָ֑ם וּ/בְנֵ֥י צִבְע֖וֹן אַיָּ֥ה וַ/עֲנָֽה

The sonnes of Anah: Dishon. And the sonnes of Dishon: Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

בְּנֵ֥י עֲנָ֖ה דִּישׁ֑וֹן וּ/בְנֵ֣י דִישׁ֔וֹן חַמְרָ֥ן וְ/אֶשְׁבָּ֖ן וְ/יִתְרָ֥ן וּ/כְרָֽן

The sonnes of Ezer: Bilham, and Zauan, and Iakan. The sonnes of Dishon: Uz, and Aran.

בְּֽנֵי אֵ֔צֶר בִּלְהָ֥ן וְ/זַעֲוָ֖ן יַעֲקָ֑ן בְּנֵ֥י דִישׁ֖וֹן ע֥וּץ וַ/אֲרָֽן

¶ Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before any king reigned ouer the children of Israel. Bela the sonne of Beor; and the name of his citie, was Dinhabah.

וְ/אֵ֣לֶּה הַ/מְּלָכִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר מָלְכוּ֙ בְּ/אֶ֣רֶץ אֱד֔וֹם לִ/פְנֵ֥י מְלָךְ מֶ֖לֶךְ לִ/בְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל בֶּ֚לַע בֶּן בְּע֔וֹר וְ/שֵׁ֥ם עִיר֖/וֹ דִּנְהָֽבָה

And when Bela was dead, Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bosrah, reigned in his stead.

GenevaThen Bela died, and Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

וַ/יָּ֖מָת בָּ֑לַע וַ/יִּמְלֹ֣ךְ תַּחְתָּ֔י/ו יוֹבָ֥ב בֶּן זֶ֖רַח מִ/בָּצְרָֽה

And when Iobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanits, reigned in his stead.

GenevaAnd whe Iobab was dead, Hussham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

וַ/יָּ֖מָת יוֹבָ֑ב וַ/יִּמְלֹ֣ךְ תַּחְתָּ֔י/ו חוּשָׁ֖ם מֵ/אֶ֥רֶץ הַ/תֵּימָנִֽי

And when Husham was dead, Hadad, the sonne of Bedad (which smote Midian in the field of Moab) reigned in his stead: and the name of his citie was Auith.

GenevaAnd when Hussham was dead, Hadad the sonne of Bedad which smote Midian in the fielde of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.

וַ/יָּ֖מָת חוּשָׁ֑ם וַ/יִּמְלֹ֨ךְ תַּחְתָּ֜י/ו הֲדַ֣ד בֶּן בְּדַ֗ד הַ/מַּכֶּ֤ה אֶת מִדְיָן֙ בִּ/שְׂדֵ֣ה מוֹאָ֔ב וְ/שֵׁ֥ם עִיר֖/וֹ עיות

And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah, reigned in his stead.

GenevaSo Hadad dyed, and Samlah of Mashrecah reigned in his stead.

וַ/יָּ֖מָת הֲדָ֑ד וַ/יִּמְלֹ֣ךְ תַּחְתָּ֔י/ו שַׂמְלָ֖ה מִ/מַּשְׂרֵקָֽה

And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer, reigned in his stead.

GenevaAnd Samlah dyed, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer reigned in his stead.

וַ/יָּ֖מָת שַׂמְלָ֑ה וַ/יִּמְלֹ֣ךְ תַּחְתָּ֔י/ו שָׁא֖וּל מֵ/רְחֹב֥וֹת הַ/נָּהָֽר

And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor, reigned in his stead.

וַ/יָּ֖מָת שָׁא֑וּל וַ/יִּמְלֹ֣ךְ תַּחְתָּ֔י/ו בַּ֥עַל חָנָ֖ן בֶּן עַכְבּֽוֹר

And when Baal-hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his citie was Pai: and his wiues name was Mehetabel the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

GenevaAnd Baal-hanan dyed, and Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pai, and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mezahab.

וַ/יָּ֨מָת֙ בַּ֣עַל חָנָ֔ן וַ/יִּמְלֹ֤ךְ תַּחְתָּי/ו֙ הֲדַ֔ד וְ/שֵׁ֥ם עִיר֖/וֹ פָּ֑עִי וְ/שֵׁ֨ם אִשְׁתּ֤/וֹ מְהֵיטַבְאֵל֙ בַּת מַטְרֵ֔ד בַּ֖ת מֵ֥י זָהָֽב

¶ Hadad dyed also. And the Dukes of Edom were: Duke Timnah, Duke Aliah, Duke Ietheth,
