Isaiah 6
In the yeere that King Uzziah died, I saw also the Lord sitting vpon a throne, high and lifted vp, and his traine filled the Temple.

בִּ/שְׁנַת מוֹת֙ הַ/מֶּ֣לֶךְ עֻזִּיָּ֔הוּ וָ/אֶרְאֶ֧ה אֶת אֲדֹנָ֛/י יֹשֵׁ֥ב עַל כִּסֵּ֖א רָ֣ם וְ/נִשָּׂ֑א וְ/שׁוּלָ֖י/ו מְלֵאִ֥ים אֶת הַ/הֵיכָֽל
Aboue it stood the Seraphims: each one had sixe wings, with twaine he couered his face, and with twaine hee couered his feete, and with twaine hee did flie.
GenevaThe Seraphims stoode vpon it: euery one had sixe wings: with twaine he couered his face, and with twaine hee couered his feete, and with twaine he did flie.
שְׂרָפִ֨ים עֹמְדִ֤ים מִ/מַּ֨עַל֙ ל֔/וֹ שֵׁ֧שׁ כְּנָפַ֛יִם שֵׁ֥שׁ כְּנָפַ֖יִם לְ/אֶחָ֑ד בִּ/שְׁתַּ֣יִם יְכַסֶּ֣ה פָנָ֗י/ו וּ/בִ/שְׁתַּ֛יִם יְכַסֶּ֥ה רַגְלָ֖י/ו וּ/בִ/שְׁתַּ֥יִם יְעוֹפֵֽף
And one cryed vnto another, and sayd; Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hostes, the whole earth is full of his glory.
GenevaAnd one cryed to another, and sayde, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hostes: the whole world is full of his glory.
וְ/קָרָ֨א זֶ֤ה אֶל זֶה֙ וְ/אָמַ֔ר קָד֧וֹשׁ קָד֛וֹשׁ קָד֖וֹשׁ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת מְלֹ֥א כָל הָ/אָ֖רֶץ כְּבוֹדֽ/וֹ
And the posts of the doore moued at the voyce of him that cryed, and the house was filled with smoke.
GenevaAnd the lintles of the doore cheekes moued at the voyce of him that cryed, and the house was filled with smoke.
וַ/יָּנֻ֨עוּ֙ אַמּ֣וֹת הַ/סִּפִּ֔ים מִ/קּ֖וֹל הַ/קּוֹרֵ֑א וְ/הַ/בַּ֖יִת יִמָּלֵ֥א עָשָֽׁן
¶ Then sayd I; woe is me; for I am vndone, because I am a man of vncleane lippes, and I dwell in the midst of a people of vncleane lippes: for mine eyes haue seene the king, the LORD of hostes.
GenevaThen I sayd, Wo is me: for I am vndone, because I am a man of polluted lips, and I dwell in the middes of a people of polluted lips: for mine eyes haue seene the King and Lord of hostes.
וָ/אֹמַ֞ר אֽוֹי לִ֣/י כִֽי נִדְמֵ֗יתִי כִּ֣י אִ֤ישׁ טְמֵֽא שְׂפָתַ֨יִם֙ אָנֹ֔כִי וּ/בְ/תוֹךְ֙ עַם טְמֵ֣א שְׂפָתַ֔יִם אָנֹכִ֖י יוֹשֵׁ֑ב כִּ֗י אֶת הַ/מֶּ֛לֶךְ יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת רָא֥וּ עֵינָֽ/י
Then flew one of the Seraphims vnto mee, hauing a liue-cole in his hand, which hee had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
GenevaThen flewe one of the Seraphims vnto me with an hote cole in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with the tongs:
וַ/יָּ֣עָף אֵלַ֗/י אֶחָד֙ מִן הַ/שְּׂרָפִ֔ים וּ/בְ/יָד֖/וֹ רִצְפָּ֑ה בְּ/מֶ֨לְקַחַ֔יִם לָקַ֖ח מֵ/עַ֥ל הַ/מִּזְבֵּֽחַ
And he laide it vpon my mouth, and sayd, Loe, this hath touched thy lippes, and thine iniquitie is taken away, and thy sinne purged.
GenevaAnd he touched my mouth, and sayd, Loe, this hath touched thy lips, and thine iniquitie shall be taken away, and thy sinne shalbe purged.
וַ/יַּגַּ֣ע עַל פִּ֔/י וַ/יֹּ֕אמֶר הִנֵּ֛ה נָגַ֥ע זֶ֖ה עַל שְׂפָתֶ֑י/ךָ וְ/סָ֣ר עֲוֺנֶ֔/ךָ וְ/חַטָּאתְ/ךָ֖ תְּכֻפָּֽר
Also I heard the voyce of the Lord, saying; Whom shall I send, and who will goe for vs? Then I saide; Heere am I, send me.
GenevaAlso I heard the voyce of the Lord, saying, Whome shall I send? and who shall goe for vs? Then I sayd, Here am I, send me.
וָ/אֶשְׁמַ֞ע אֶת ק֤וֹל אֲדֹנָ/י֙ אֹמֵ֔ר אֶת מִ֥י אֶשְׁלַ֖ח וּ/מִ֣י יֵֽלֶךְ לָ֑/נוּ וָ/אֹמַ֖ר הִנְ/נִ֥י שְׁלָחֵֽ/נִי
¶ And he sayd, Goe and tell this people; Heare yee indeede, but vnderstand not: and see yee indeed, but perceiue not.
GenevaAnd he sayd, Goe, and say vnto this people, Ye shall heare in deede, but ye shall not vnderstand: ye shall plainely see, and not perceiue.
וַ/יֹּ֕אמֶר לֵ֥ךְ וְ/אָמַרְתָּ֖ לָ/עָ֣ם הַ/זֶּ֑ה שִׁמְע֤וּ שָׁמ֨וֹעַ֙ וְ/אַל תָּבִ֔ינוּ וּ/רְא֥וּ רָא֖וֹ וְ/אַל תֵּדָֽעוּ
Make the heart of this people fat, and make their eares heauy, and shut their eyes: lest they see with their eyes, and heare with their eares, and vnderstand with their heart, and conuert and be healed.

הַשְׁמֵן֙ לֵב הָ/עָ֣ם הַ/זֶּ֔ה וְ/אָזְנָ֥י/ו הַכְבֵּ֖ד וְ/עֵינָ֣י/ו הָשַׁ֑ע פֶּן יִרְאֶ֨ה בְ/עֵינָ֜י/ו וּ/בְ/אָזְנָ֣י/ו יִשְׁמָ֗ע וּ/לְבָב֥/וֹ יָבִ֛ין וָ/שָׁ֖ב וְ/רָ֥פָא לֽ/וֹ
Then sayd I; Lord, how long? And hee answered, Untill the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be vtterly desolate,

וָ/אֹמַ֕ר עַד מָתַ֖י אֲדֹנָ֑/י וַ/יֹּ֡אמֶר עַ֣ד אֲשֶׁר֩ אִם שָׁא֨וּ עָרִ֜ים מֵ/אֵ֣ין יוֹשֵׁ֗ב וּ/בָתִּים֙ מֵ/אֵ֣ין אָדָ֔ם וְ/הָ/אֲדָמָ֖ה תִּשָּׁאֶ֥ה שְׁמָמָֽה
And the LORD haue remoued men farre away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.
GenevaAnd the Lord haue remoued men farre away, and there be a great desolation in the mids of the land.
וְ/רִחַ֥ק יְהוָ֖ה אֶת הָ/אָדָ֑ם וְ/רַבָּ֥ה הָ/עֲזוּבָ֖ה בְּ/קֶ֥רֶב הָ/אָֽרֶץ
¶ But yet in it shalbe a tenth, and it shall returne, and shall be eaten: as a Teyle tree, and as an Oke whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaues: so the holy seede shall be the substance thereof.

וְ/ע֥וֹד בָּ/הּ֙ עֲשִׂ֣רִיָּ֔ה וְ/שָׁ֖בָה וְ/הָיְתָ֣ה לְ/בָעֵ֑ר כָּ/אֵלָ֣ה וְ/כָ/אַלּ֗וֹן אֲשֶׁ֤ר בְּ/שַׁלֶּ֨כֶת֙ מַצֶּ֣בֶת בָּ֔/ם זֶ֥רַע קֹ֖דֶשׁ מַצַּבְתָּֽ/הּ
