Psalms 121
A Song of degrees.
I will lift vp mine eyes vnto the hilles: from whence commeth my helpe.
GenevaA song of degrees. I will lift mine eyes vnto the mountaines, from whence mine helpe shall come.
שִׁ֗יר לַֽ/מַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת אֶשָּׂ֣א עֵ֭ינַ/י אֶל הֶ/הָרִ֑ים מֵ֝/אַ֗יִן יָבֹ֥א עֶזְרִֽ/י
My helpe commeth from the LORD: which made heauen and earth.
GenevaMine helpe commeth from the Lord, which hath made the heauen and the earth.
עֶ֭זְרִ/י מֵ/עִ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה עֹ֝שֵׂ֗ה שָׁמַ֥יִם וָ/אָֽרֶץ
He will not suffer thy foote to bee moued: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
GenevaHe wil not suffer thy foote to slippe: for he that keepeth thee, will not slumber.
אַל יִתֵּ֣ן לַ/מּ֣וֹט רַגְלֶ֑/ךָ אַל יָ֝נ֗וּם שֹֽׁמְרֶֽ/ךָ
Behold, he that keepeth Israel; shall neither slumber nor sleepe.
GenevaBeholde, he that keepeth Israel, wil neither slumber nor sleepe.
הִנֵּ֣ה לֹֽא יָ֭נוּם וְ/לֹ֣א יִישָׁ֑ן שׁ֝וֹמֵ֗ר יִשְׂרָאֵֽל
The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade, vpon thy right hand.
GenevaThe Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shadow at thy right hand.
יְהוָ֥ה שֹׁמְרֶ֑/ךָ יְהוָ֥ה צִ֝לְּ/ךָ֗ עַל יַ֥ד יְמִינֶֽ/ךָ
The sunne shall not smite thee by day; nor the moone by night.
GenevaThe sunne shall not smite thee by day, nor the moone by night.
יוֹמָ֗ם הַ/שֶּׁ֥מֶשׁ לֹֽא יַכֶּ֗/כָּה וְ/יָרֵ֥חַ בַּ/לָּֽיְלָה
The LORD shall preserue thee from all euill: hee shall preserue thy soule.
GenevaThe Lord shall preserue thee from all euil: he shall keepe thy soule.
יְֽהוָ֗ה יִשְׁמָרְ/ךָ֥ מִ/כָּל רָ֑ע יִ֝שְׁמֹ֗ר אֶת נַפְשֶֽׁ/ךָ
The LORD shall preserue thy going out, and thy comming in: from this time foorth and euen for euermore.
GenevaThe Lord shall preserue thy going out, and thy comming in from henceforth and for euer.
יְֽהוָ֗ה יִשְׁמָר צֵאתְ/ךָ֥ וּ/בוֹאֶ֑/ךָ מֵֽ֝/עַתָּ֗ה וְ/עַד עוֹלָֽם
