Psalms 145

I will extoll thee, my God, O King: and I will blesse thy name for euer and euer.

GenevaA Psalme of David of Praise. O my God and King, I will extold thee, and will blesse thy Name for euer and euer.

תְּהִלָּ֗ה לְ/דָ֫וִ֥ד אֲרוֹמִמְ/ךָ֣ אֱלוֹהַ֣/י הַ/מֶּ֑לֶךְ וַ/אֲבָרֲכָ֥ה שִׁ֝מְ/ךָ֗ לְ/עוֹלָ֥ם וָ/עֶֽד

Euery day wil I blesse thee: and I will praise thy Name for euer and euer.

GenevaI will blesse thee dayly, and prayse thy Name for euer and euer.

בְּ/כָל י֥וֹם אֲבָרֲכֶ֑/ךָּ וַ/אֲהַלְלָ֥ה שִׁ֝מְ/ךָ֗ לְ/עוֹלָ֥ם וָ/עֶֽד

Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: and his greatnes is vnsearchable.

GenevaGreat is the Lord, and most worthy to be praysed, and his greatnes is incomprehensible.

גָּ֘ד֤וֹל יְהוָ֣ה וּ/מְהֻלָּ֣ל מְאֹ֑ד וְ֝/לִ/גְדֻלָּת֗/וֹ אֵ֣ין חֵֽקֶר

One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shal declare thy mightie actes.

GenevaGeneration shall praise thy works vnto generation, and declare thy power.

דּ֣וֹר לְ֭/דוֹר יְשַׁבַּ֣ח מַעֲשֶׂ֑י/ךָ וּ/גְב֖וּרֹתֶ֣י/ךָ יַגִּֽידוּ

I will speake of the glorious honour of thy maiestie: and of thy wonderous workes.

GenevaI wil meditate of the beautie of thy glorious maiestie, and thy wonderfull workes,

הֲ֭דַר כְּב֣וֹד הוֹדֶ֑/ךָ וְ/דִבְרֵ֖י נִפְלְאוֹתֶ֣י/ךָ אָשִֽׂיחָה

And men shall speake of the might of thy terrible acts: and I wil declare thy greatnesse.

GenevaAnd they shall speake of the power of thy fearefull actes, and I will declare thy greatnes.

וֶ/עֱז֣וּז נוֹרְאֹתֶ֣י/ךָ יֹאמֵ֑רוּ ו/גדולתי/ך אֲסַפְּרֶֽ/נָּה

They shall abundantly vtter the memory of thy great goodnesse: and shall sing of thy righteousnesse.

GenevaThey shall breake out into the mention of thy great goodnes, and shall sing aloude of thy righteousnesse.

זֵ֣כֶר רַב טוּבְ/ךָ֣ יַבִּ֑יעוּ וְ/צִדְקָתְ/ךָ֥ יְרַנֵּֽנוּ

The LORD is gracious and full of compassion: slow to anger, and of great mercy.

GenevaThe Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great mercie.

חַנּ֣וּן וְ/רַח֣וּם יְהוָ֑ה אֶ֥רֶךְ אַ֝פַּ֗יִם וּ/גְדָל חָֽסֶד

The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are ouer all his workes.

GenevaThe Lord is good to all, and his mercies are ouer all his workes.

טוֹב יְהוָ֥ה לַ/כֹּ֑ל וְ֝/רַחֲמָ֗י/ו עַל כָּל מַעֲשָֽׂי/ו

All thy workes shall praise thee, O LORD: and thy Saints shal blesse thee.

יוֹד֣וּ/ךָ יְ֭הוָה כָּל מַעֲשֶׂ֑י/ךָ וַ֝/חֲסִידֶ֗י/ךָ יְבָרֲכֽוּ/כָה

They shall speake of the glory of thy kingdome: and talke of thy power.

GenevaThey shewe the glory of thy kingdome, and speake of thy power,

כְּב֣וֹד מַלְכוּתְ/ךָ֣ יֹאמֵ֑רוּ וּ/גְבוּרָתְ/ךָ֥ יְדַבֵּֽרוּ

To make knowen to the sonnes of men his mightie actes: and the glorious Maiestie of his kingdome.

GenevaTo cause his power to be knowen to the sonnes of men, and the glorious renoume of his kingdome.

לְ/הוֹדִ֤יעַ לִ/בְנֵ֣י הָ֭/אָדָם גְּבוּרֹתָ֑י/ו וּ֝/כְב֗וֹד הֲדַ֣ר מַלְכוּתֽ/וֹ

Thy kingdome is an euerlasting kingdome: and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

The LORD vpholdeth all that fall: and raiseth vp all those that bee bowed downe.

GenevaThe Lord vpholdeth all that fall, and lifteth vp all that are ready to fall.

סוֹמֵ֣ךְ יְ֭הוָה לְ/כָל הַ/נֹּפְלִ֑ים וְ֝/זוֹקֵ֗ף לְ/כָל הַ/כְּפוּפִֽים

The eyes of all waite vpon thee: and thou giuest them their meat in due season.

עֵֽינֵי כֹ֭ל אֵלֶ֣י/ךָ יְשַׂבֵּ֑רוּ וְ/אַתָּ֤ה נֽוֹתֵן לָ/הֶ֖ם אֶת אָכְלָ֣/ם בְּ/עִתּֽ/וֹ

Thou openest thine hand: and satisfiest the desire of euery liuing thing.

GenevaThou openest thine hand, and fillest all things liuing of thy good pleasure.

פּוֹתֵ֥חַ אֶת יָדֶ֑/ךָ וּ/מַשְׂבִּ֖יעַ לְ/כָל חַ֣י רָצֽוֹן

The LORD is righteous in all his wayes: and holy in all his works.

GenevaThe Lord is righteous in all his wayes, and holy in all his workes.

צַדִּ֣יק יְ֭הוָה בְּ/כָל דְּרָכָ֑י/ו וְ֝/חָסִ֗יד בְּ/כָל מַעֲשָֽׂי/ו

The LORD is nigh vnto all them that call vpon him: to all that call vpon him in trueth.

GenevaThe Lord is neere vnto all that call vpon him: yea, to all that call vpon him in trueth.

קָר֣וֹב יְ֭הוָה לְ/כָל קֹרְאָ֑י/ו לְ/כֹ֤ל אֲשֶׁ֖ר יִקְרָאֻ֣/הוּ בֶ/אֱמֶֽת

Hee will fulfill the desire of them that feare him: he also will heare their cry, and will saue them.

רְצוֹן יְרֵאָ֥י/ו יַעֲשֶׂ֑ה וְֽ/אֶת שַׁוְעָתָ֥/ם יִ֝שְׁמַ֗ע וְ/יוֹשִׁיעֵֽ/ם

The LORD preserueth all them that loue him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

My mouth shall speake the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh blesse his holy Name for euer and euer.
