The foole hath sayde in his heart, There is no god; Corrupt are they, and haue done abhominable iniquitie; there is none that doth good.
GenevaTo him that excelleth on Mahalath. A Psalme of David to give instruction. The foole hath saide in his heart, There is no God. they haue corrupted and done abominable wickednes: there is none that doeth good.
לַ/מְנַצֵּ֥חַ עַֽל מָחֲלַ֗ת מַשְׂכִּ֥יל לְ/דָוִֽד
God looked downe from heauen vpon the children of men, to see if there were any that did vnderstand, that did seeke God.

Euery one of them is gone backe, they are altogether become filthy: there is none that doth good, no not one.

אֱֽלֹהִ֗ים מִ/שָּׁמַיִם֮ הִשְׁקִ֪יף עַֽל בְּנֵ֫י אָדָ֥ם לִ֭/רְאוֹת הֲ/יֵ֣שׁ מַשְׂכִּ֑יל דֹּ֝רֵ֗שׁ אֶת אֱלֹהִֽים
Haue the workers of iniquitie no knowledge? who eate vp my people, as they eate bread; they haue not called vpon God.

כֻּלּ֥/וֹ סָג֮ יַחְדָּ֪ו נֶ֫אֱלָ֥חוּ אֵ֤ין עֹֽשֵׂה ט֑וֹב אֵ֝֗ין גַּם אֶחָֽד
There were they in great feare, where no feare was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that incampeth against thee, thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

הֲ/לֹ֥א יָדְעוּ֮ פֹּ֤עֲלֵ֫י אָ֥וֶן אֹכְלֵ֣י עַ֭מִּ/י אָ֣כְלוּ לֶ֑חֶם אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים לֹ֣א קָרָֽאוּ
O that the saluation of Israel were come out of Sion! when God bringeth backe the captiuitie of his people, Iaakob shall reioyce, and Israel shall be glad.
GenevaOh giue saluation vnto Israel out of Zion: when God turneth the captiuitie of his people, then Iaakob shall reioyce, and Israel shalbe glad.
שָׁ֤ם פָּֽחֲדוּ פַחַד֮ לֹא הָ֪יָה֫ פָ֥חַד כִּֽי אֱלֹהִ֗ים פִּ֭זַּר עַצְמ֣וֹת חֹנָ֑/ךְ הֱ֝בִשֹׁ֗תָה כִּֽי אֱלֹהִ֥ים מְאָסָֽ/ם
