Psalms 108

O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing & giue praise, euen with my glory.

GenevaA song or Psalme of David. O God, mine heart is prepared, so is my tongue: I will sing and giue praise.

שִׁ֖יר מִזְמ֣וֹר לְ/דָוִֽד

Awake psaltery and harpe: I my selfe will awake early.

נָכ֣וֹן לִבִּ֣/י אֱלֹהִ֑ים אָשִׁ֥ירָה וַ֝/אֲזַמְּרָ֗ה אַף כְּבוֹדִֽ/י

I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I wil sing praises vnto thee among the nations.

ע֭וּרָֽ/ה הַ/נֵּ֥בֶל וְ/כִנּ֗וֹר אָעִ֥ירָה שָּֽׁחַר

For thy mercy is great aboue the heauens: and thy trueth reacheth vnto the clouds.

אוֹדְ/ךָ֖ בָ/עַמִּ֥ים יְהוָ֑ה וַ֝/אֲזַמֶּרְ/ךָ֗ בַּל אֻמִּֽים

Be thou exalted, O God, aboue the heauens: and thy glory aboue all the earth:

GenevaExalt thy self, O God, aboue the heauens, and let thy glorie be vpon all the earth,

כִּֽי גָד֣וֹל מֵֽ/עַל שָׁמַ֣יִם חַסְדֶּ֑/ךָ וְֽ/עַד שְׁחָקִ֥ים אֲמִתֶּֽ/ךָ

That thy beloued may bee deliuered: saue with thy right hand, and answere me.

ר֣וּמָ/ה עַל שָׁמַ֣יִם אֱלֹהִ֑ים וְ/עַ֖ל כָּל הָ/אָ֣רֶץ כְּבוֹדֶֽ/ךָ

God hath spoken in his holinesse, I wil reioyce, I will diuide Shechem: and mete out the valley of Succoth.

לְ֭מַעַן יֵחָלְצ֣וּ/ן יְדִידֶ֑י/ךָ הוֹשִׁ֖יעָ/ה יְמִֽינְ/ךָ֣ וַ/עֲנֵֽ/נִי

Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine, Ephraim also is the strength of mine head: Iudah is my Lawgiuer.

אֱלֹהִ֤ים דִּבֶּ֥ר בְּ/קָדְשׁ֗/וֹ אֶעְלֹ֥זָה אֲחַלְּקָ֥ה שְׁכֶ֑ם וְ/עֵ֖מֶק סֻכּ֣וֹת אֲמַדֵּֽד

Moab is my wash pot, ouer Edom wil I cast out my shooe: ouer Philistia will I triumph.

לִ֤/י גִלְעָ֨ד לִ֤/י מְנַשֶּׁ֗ה וְ֭/אֶפְרַיִם מָע֣וֹז רֹאשִׁ֑/י יְ֝הוּדָ֗ה מְחֹקְקִֽ/י

Who wil bring me into the strong citie? who will leade me into Edom?

מוֹאָ֤ב סִ֬יר רַחְצִ֗/י עַל אֱ֭דוֹם אַשְׁלִ֣יךְ נַעֲלִ֑/י עֲלֵֽי פְ֝לֶ֗שֶׁת אֶתְרוֹעָֽע

Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast vs off? and wilt not thou, O God, goe foorth with our hostes?

GenevaWilt not thou, O God, which haddest forsaken vs, and diddest not goe foorth, O God, with our armies?

מִ֣י יֹ֭בִלֵ/נִי עִ֣יר מִבְצָ֑ר מִ֖י נָחַ֣/נִי עַד אֱדֽוֹם

Giue vs helpe from trouble: for vaine is the helpe of man.

הֲ/לֹֽא אֱלֹהִ֥ים זְנַחְתָּ֑/נוּ וְֽ/לֹא תֵצֵ֥א אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים בְּ/צִבְאֹתֵֽי/נוּ

Through God wee shall doe valiantly: for hee it is that shall tread downe our enemies.

הָֽבָ/ה לָּ֣/נוּ עֶזְרָ֣ת מִ/צָּ֑ר וְ֝/שָׁ֗וְא תְּשׁוּעַ֥ת אָדָֽם
