Psalms 125

They that trust in the LORD, shalbe as mount Zion, which cannot be remooued, but abideth for euer.

GenevaA song of degrees. They that trust in the Lord, shalbe as mount Zion, which can not be remooued, but remaineth for euer.

שִׁ֗יר הַֽ/מַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת הַ/בֹּטְחִ֥ים בַּ/יהוָ֑ה כְּֽ/הַר צִיּ֥וֹן לֹא יִ֝מּ֗וֹט לְ/עוֹלָ֥ם יֵשֵֽׁב

As the mountaines are round about Ierusalem, so the LORD is round about his people: from hencefoorth euen for euer.

GenevaAs the mountaines are about Ierusalem: so is the Lord about his people from henceforth and for euer.

יְֽרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם הָרִים֮ סָבִ֪יב לָ֥/הּ וַ֭/יהוָה סָבִ֣יב לְ/עַמּ֑/וֹ מֵ֝/עַתָּ֗ה וְ/עַד עוֹלָֽם

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest vpon the lot of the righteous: lest the righteous put forth their hands vnto iniquitie.

GenevaFor the rod of the wicked shall not rest on the lot of the righteous, least the righteous put forth their hand vnto wickednes.

כִּ֤י לֹ֪א יָנ֡וּחַ שֵׁ֤בֶט הָ/רֶ֗שַׁע עַל֮ גּוֹרַ֪ל הַֽ/צַּדִּ֫יקִ֥ים לְמַ֡עַן לֹא יִשְׁלְח֖וּ הַ/צַּדִּיקִ֨ים בְּ/עַוְלָ֬תָ/ה יְדֵי/הֶֽם

Doe good, O LORD, vnto those that be good: and to them that are vpright in their hearts.

GenevaDoe well, O Lord, vnto those that be good and true in their hearts.

הֵיטִ֣יבָ/ה יְ֭הוָה לַ/טּוֹבִ֑ים וְ֝/לִֽ/ישָׁרִ֗ים בְּ/לִבּוֹתָֽ/ם

As for such as turne aside vnto their crooked wayes, the LORD shall lead them foorth with the workers of iniquitie: but peace shalbe vpon Israel.

GenevaBut these that turne aside by their crooked wayes, them shall the Lord leade with the workers of iniquitie: but peace shalbe vpon Israel.

וְ/הַ/מַּטִּ֤ים עַֽקַלְקַלּוֹתָ֗/ם יוֹלִיכֵ֣/ם יְ֭הוָה אֶת פֹּעֲלֵ֣י הָ/אָ֑וֶן שָׁ֝ל֗וֹם עַל יִשְׂרָאֵֽל
