How long wilt thou forget mee (O LORD) for euer? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
GenevaTo him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. Howe long wilt thou forget me, O Lord, for euer? howe long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
לַ/מְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְ/דָוִֽד
How long shall I take counsel in my soule, hauing sorrow in my heart dayly? how long shall mine enemie be exalted ouer me?
GenevaHow long shall I take counsell within my selfe, hauing wearinesse dayly in mine heart? how long shall mine enemie be exalted aboue me?
עַד אָ֣נָה יְ֭הוָה תִּשְׁכָּחֵ֣/נִי נֶ֑צַח עַד אָ֓נָה תַּסְתִּ֖יר אֶת פָּנֶ֣י/ךָ מִמֶּֽ/נִּי
Consider and heare me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleepe of death.
GenevaBeholde, and heare mee, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, that I sleepe not in death:
עַד אָ֨נָה אָשִׁ֪ית עֵצ֡וֹת בְּ/נַפְשִׁ֗/י יָג֣וֹן בִּ/לְבָבִ֣/י יוֹמָ֑ם עַד אָ֓נָה יָר֖וּם אֹיְבִ֣/י עָלָֽ/י
Least mine enimie say, I haue preuailed against him: and those that trouble mee, reioyce, when I am moued.
GenevaLest mine enemie say, I haue preuailed against him: and they that afflict me, reioyce when I slide.
הַבִּ֣יטָֽ/ה עֲ֭נֵ/נִי יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑/י הָאִ֥ירָ/ה עֵ֝ינַ֗/י פֶּן אִישַׁ֥ן הַ/מָּֽוֶת
But I haue trusted in thy mercy, my heart shall reioyce in thy saluation.
GenevaBut I trust in thy mercie: mine heart shall reioyce in thy saluation: I will sing to the Lord, because he hath delt louingly with me.
פֶּן יֹאמַ֣ר אֹיְבִ֣/י יְכָלְתִּ֑י/ו צָרַ֥/י יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ כִּ֣י אֶמּֽוֹט
I will sing vnto the LORD, because hee hath dealt bountifully with mee.
