Psalms 29
A Psalm of David.
Giue vnto the LORD (O ye mighty) giue vnto the LORD glory and strength.
GenevaA Psalme of David. Give vnto the Lord, ye sonnes of the mightie: giue vnto the Lord glorie and strength.
מִזְמ֗וֹר לְ/דָ֫וִ֥ד הָב֣וּ לַֽ֭/יהוָה בְּנֵ֣י אֵלִ֑ים הָב֥וּ לַ֝/יהוָ֗ה כָּב֥וֹד וָ/עֹֽז
Giue vnto the LORD the glory due vnto his Name; worship the LORD in the beautie of holinesse.
GenevaGiue vnto the Lord glorie due vnto his Name: worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie.
הָב֣וּ לַֽ֭/יהוָה כְּב֣וֹד שְׁמ֑/וֹ הִשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ לַ֝/יהוָ֗ה בְּ/הַדְרַת קֹֽדֶשׁ
The voice of the LORD is vpon the waters: the God of glory thundreth, the LORD is vpon many waters.
GenevaThe voyce of the Lord is vpon the waters: the God of glorie maketh it to thunder: the Lord is vpon the great waters.
ק֥וֹל יְהוָ֗ה עַל הַ֫/מָּ֥יִם אֵֽל הַ/כָּב֥וֹד הִרְעִ֑ים יְ֝הוָ֗ה עַל מַ֥יִם רַבִּֽים
The voice of the LORD is powerfull; the voyce of the LORD is full of Maiestie.
GenevaThe voyce of the Lord is mightie: the voyce of the Lord is glorious.
קוֹל יְהוָ֥ה בַּ/כֹּ֑חַ ק֥וֹל יְ֝הוָ֗ה בֶּ/הָדָֽר
The voyce of the LORD breaketh the Cedars: yea, the LORD breaketh the Cedars of Lebanon.
GenevaThe voyce of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
ק֣וֹל יְ֭הוָה שֹׁבֵ֣ר אֲרָזִ֑ים וַ/יְשַׁבֵּ֥ר יְ֝הוָ֗ה אֶת אַרְזֵ֥י הַ/לְּבָנֽוֹן
He maketh them also to skip like a calfe: Lebanon, and Sirion like a yong Unicorne.
GenevaHe maketh them also to leape like a calfe: Lebanon also and Shirion like a yong vnicorne.
וַ/יַּרְקִידֵ֥/ם כְּמוֹ עֵ֑גֶל לְבָנ֥וֹן וְ֝/שִׂרְיֹ֗ן כְּמ֣וֹ בֶן רְאֵמִֽים
The voyce of the LORD diuideth the flames of fire.
GenevaThe voice of the Lord deuideth the flames of sire.
קוֹל יְהוָ֥ה חֹצֵ֗ב לַהֲב֥וֹת אֵֽשׁ
The voyce of the LORD shaketh the wildernes: the LORD shaketh the wildernesse of Kadesh.
GenevaThe voice of the Lord maketh the wildernes to tremble: the Lord maketh the wildernes of Kadesh to tremble.
ק֣וֹל יְ֭הוָה יָחִ֣יל מִדְבָּ֑ר יָחִ֥יל יְ֝הוָ֗ה מִדְבַּ֥ר קָדֵֽשׁ
The voice of the LORD maketh the hindes to calue, and discouereth the forrests: and in his Temple doeth euery one speake of his glory.

ק֤וֹל יְהוָ֨ה יְחוֹלֵ֣ל אַיָּלוֹת֮ וַֽ/יֶּחֱשֹׂ֪ף יְעָ֫ר֥וֹת וּ/בְ/הֵיכָל֑/וֹ כֻּ֝לּ֗/וֹ אֹמֵ֥ר כָּבֽוֹד
The LORD sitteth vpon the flood: yea the LORD sitteth King for euer.
GenevaThe Lord sitteth vpon the flood, and the Lord doeth remaine King for euer.
יְ֭הוָה לַ/מַּבּ֣וּל יָשָׁ֑ב וַ/יֵּ֥שֶׁב יְ֝הוָ֗ה מֶ֣לֶךְ לְ/עוֹלָֽם
The LORD will giue strength vnto his people; the LORD will blesse his people with peace.
GenevaThe Lord shall giue strength vnto his people: the Lord shall blesse his people with peace.
יְֽהוָ֗ה עֹ֭ז לְ/עַמּ֣/וֹ יִתֵּ֑ן יְהוָ֓ה יְבָרֵ֖ךְ אֶת עַמּ֣/וֹ בַ/שָּׁלֽוֹם
