Heare my voice, O God, in my praier; preserue my life from feare of the enemie.

לַ/מְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְ/דָוִֽד
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked: from the insurrection of the workers of iniquitie:
Geneva 1599Hide me from the conspiracie of the wicked, and from the rage of the workers of iniquitie.
שְׁמַע אֱלֹהִ֣ים קוֹלִ֣/י בְ/שִׂיחִ֑/י מִ/פַּ֥חַד א֝וֹיֵ֗ב תִּצֹּ֥ר חַיָּֽ/י
Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bowes to shoote their arrowes, euen bitter words:

תַּ֭סְתִּירֵ/נִי מִ/סּ֣וֹד מְרֵעִ֑ים מֵ֝/רִגְשַׁ֗ת פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן
That they may shoote in secret at the perfect: suddenly doe they shoote at him, and feare not.

אֲשֶׁ֤ר שָׁנְנ֣וּ כַ/חֶ֣רֶב לְשׁוֹנָ֑/ם דָּרְכ֥וּ חִ֝צָּ֗/ם דָּבָ֥ר מָֽר
They incourage themselues in an euill matter: they commune of laying snares priuily; they say, Who shall see them?

לִ/יר֣וֹת בַּ/מִּסְתָּרִ֣ים תָּ֑ם פִּתְאֹ֥ם יֹ֝רֻ֗/הוּ וְ/לֹ֣א יִירָֽאוּ
They search out iniquities, they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of euery one of them, and the heart, is deepe.
Geneva 1599They haue sought out iniquities, and haue accomplished that which they sought out, euen euery one his secret thoughtes, and the depth of his heart.
יְחַזְּקוּ לָ֨/מוֹ דָּ֘בָ֤ר רָ֗ע יְֽ֭סַפְּרוּ לִ/טְמ֣וֹן מוֹקְשִׁ֑ים אָ֝מְר֗וּ מִ֣י יִרְאֶה לָּֽ/מוֹ
But God shall shoote at them: with an arrowe, sodenly shall they be wounded.
Geneva 1599But God will shoote an arrowe at them suddenly: their strokes shalbe at once.
יַֽחְפְּֽשׂוּ עוֹלֹ֗ת תַּ֭מְנוּ חֵ֣פֶשׂ מְחֻפָּ֑שׂ וְ/קֶ֥רֶב אִ֝֗ישׁ וְ/לֵ֣ב עָמֹֽק
So they shall make their owne tongue to fall vpon themselues: all that see them, shall flee away.
Geneva 1599They shall cause their owne tongue to fall vpon them: and whosoeuer shall see them, shall flee away.
וַ/יֹּרֵ֗/ם אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים חֵ֥ץ פִּתְא֑וֹם הָ֝י֗וּ מַכּוֹתָֽ/ם
And all men shall feare, and shall declare the worke of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
Geneva 1599And all men shall see it, and declare the worke of God, and they shall vnderstand, what he hath wrought.
וַ/יַּכְשִׁיל֣וּ/הוּ עָלֵ֣י/מוֹ לְשׁוֹנָ֑/ם יִ֝תְנֹדֲד֗וּ כָּל רֹ֥אֵה בָֽ/ם
The righteous shalbe glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the vpright in heart shall glory.
Geneva 1599But the righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in him: and all that are vpright of heart, shall reioyce.
וַ/יִּֽירְא֗וּ כָּל אָ֫דָ֥ם וַ֭/יַּגִּידוּ פֹּ֥עַל אֱלֹהִ֗ים וּֽ/מַעֲשֵׂ֥/הוּ הִשְׂכִּֽילוּ
