It is a good thing to giue thanks vnto the LORD, and to sing praises vnto thy Name, O most High:

מִזְמ֥וֹר שִׁ֗יר לְ/י֣וֹם הַ/שַּׁבָּֽת
To shew foorth thy louing kindnesse in the morning: and thy faithfulnesse euery night:
GenevaTo declare thy louing kindenesse in the morning, and thy trueth in the night,
ט֗וֹב לְ/הֹד֥וֹת לַ/יהוָ֑ה וּ/לְ/זַמֵּ֖ר לְ/שִׁמְ/ךָ֣ עֶלְיֽוֹן
Upon an instrument of tenne strings, and vpon the psalterie: vpon the harpe with a solemne sound.
GenevaVpon an instrument of tenne strings, and vpon the viole with the song vpon the harpe.
לְ/הַגִּ֣יד בַּ/בֹּ֣קֶר חַסְֽדֶּ֑/ךָ וֶ֝/אֱמֽוּנָתְ/ךָ֗ בַּ/לֵּילֽוֹת
For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy worke: I will triumph in the workes of thy hands.
GenevaFor thou, Lord, hast made mee glad by thy workes, and I wil reioyce in the workes of thine handes.
עֲֽלֵי עָ֭שׂוֹר וַ/עֲלֵי נָ֑בֶל עֲלֵ֖י הִגָּי֣וֹן בְּ/כִנּֽוֹר
O LORD, how great are thy workes! and thy thoughts are very deepe.
GenevaO Lord, how glorious are thy workes! and thy thoughtes are very deepe.
כִּ֤י שִׂמַּחְתַּ֣/נִי יְהוָ֣ה בְּ/פָעֳלֶ֑/ךָ בְּֽ/מַעֲשֵׂ֖י יָדֶ֣י/ךָ אֲרַנֵּֽן
A brutish man knoweth not: neither doeth a foole vnderstand this.
GenevaAn vnwise man knoweth it not, and a foole doeth not vnderstand this,
מַה גָּדְל֣וּ מַעֲשֶׂ֣י/ךָ יְהוָ֑ה מְ֝אֹ֗ד עָמְק֥וּ מַחְשְׁבֹתֶֽי/ךָ
When the wicked spring as the grasse, and when all the workers of iniquitie doe flourish: it is that they shall be destroyed for euer.
Geneva(When the wicked growe as the grasse, and all the workers of wickednesse doe flourish) that they shall be destroyed for euer.
אִֽישׁ בַּ֭עַר לֹ֣א יֵדָ֑ע וּ֝/כְסִ֗יל לֹא יָבִ֥ין אֶת זֹֽאת
¶ But thou, LORD, art most high for euermore.
GenevaBut thou, O Lord, art most High for euermore.
בִּ/פְרֹ֤חַ רְשָׁעִ֨ים כְּמ֥וֹ עֵ֗שֶׂב וַ֭/יָּצִיצוּ כָּל פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָ֑וֶן לְ/הִשָּֽׁמְדָ֥/ם עֲדֵי עַֽד
For loe, thine enemies, O LORD, for loe, thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquity shalbe scattred.
GenevaFor loe, thine enemies, O Lord: for loe, thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquitie shall be destroyed.
וְ/אַתָּ֥ה מָר֗וֹם לְ/עֹלָ֥ם יְהוָֽה
But my horne shalt thou exalt like the horne of an vnicorne: I shalbe anointed with fresh oyle.
GenevaBut thou shalt exalt mine horne, like the vnicornes, and I shalbe anoynted with fresh oyle.
כִּ֤י הִנֵּ֪ה אֹיְבֶ֡י/ךָ יְֽהוָ֗ה כִּֽי הִנֵּ֣ה אֹיְבֶ֣י/ךָ יֹאבֵ֑דוּ יִ֝תְפָּרְד֗וּ כָּל פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן
Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies: and mine eares shall heare my desire of the wicked that rise vp against me.
GenevaMine eye also shall see my desire against mine enemies: and mine eares shall heare my wish against the wicked, that rise vp against me.
וַ/תָּ֣רֶם כִּ/רְאֵ֣ים קַרְנִ֑/י בַּ֝לֹּתִ֗י בְּ/שֶׁ֣מֶן רַעֲנָֽן
The righteous shal flourish like the palme tree: hee shall growe like a cedar in Lebanon.
GenevaThe righteous shall flourish like a palme tree, and shall grow like a Cedar in Lebanon.
וַ/תַּבֵּ֥ט עֵינִ֗/י בְּ/שׁ֫וּרָ֥/י בַּ/קָּמִ֖ים עָלַ֥/י מְרֵעִ֗ים תִּשְׁמַ֥עְנָה אָזְנָֽ/י
Those that be planted in the house of the LORD, shall flourish in the courts of our God.
GenevaSuch as bee planted in the house of the Lord, shall flourish in the courtes of our God.
צַ֭דִּיק כַּ/תָּמָ֣ר יִפְרָ֑ח כְּ/אֶ֖רֶז בַּ/לְּבָנ֣וֹן יִשְׂגֶּֽה
They shal still bring forth fruit in old age: they shalbe fat, & flourishing:
GenevaThey shall still bring foorth fruite in their age: they shall be fat and flourishing,
שְׁ֭תוּלִים בְּ/בֵ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה בְּ/חַצְר֖וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣י/נוּ יַפְרִֽיחוּ
To shew that the LORD is vpright: hee is my rocke, and there is no vnrighteousnesse in him.
GenevaTo declare that the Lord my rocke is righteous, and that none iniquitie is in him.
ע֭וֹד יְנוּב֣וּ/ן בְּ/שֵׂיבָ֑ה דְּשֵׁנִ֖ים וְ/רַֽעֲנַנִּ֣ים יִהְיֽוּ
