Psalms 101

I will sing of Mercie and Iudgement: vnto thee, O LORD, wil I sing.

GenevaA Psalme of David. I will sing mercie and iudgement: vnto thee, O Lord, will I sing.

לְ/דָוִ֗ד מִ֫זְמ֥וֹר חֶֽסֶד וּ/מִשְׁפָּ֥ט אָשִׁ֑ירָה לְ/ךָ֖ יְהוָ֣ה אֲזַמֵּֽרָה

I will behaue my selfe wisely in a perfect way, O when wilt thou come vnto me? I will walke within my house with a perfect heart.

GenevaI will doe wisely in the perfite way, till thou commest to me: I will walke in the vprightnes of mine heart in the middes of mine house.

אַשְׂכִּ֤ילָה בְּ/דֶ֬רֶךְ תָּמִ֗ים מָ֭תַי תָּב֣וֹא אֵלָ֑/י אֶתְהַלֵּ֥ךְ בְּ/תָם לְ֝בָבִ֗/י בְּ/קֶ֣רֶב בֵּיתִֽ/י

I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the worke of them that turne aside, it shal not cleaue to me.

GenevaI wil set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the worke of them that fall away: it shall not cleaue vnto me.

לֹֽא אָשִׁ֨ית לְ/נֶ֥גֶד עֵינַ֗/י דְּֽבַר בְּלִ֫יָּ֥עַל עֲשֹֽׂה סֵטִ֥ים שָׂנֵ֑אתִי לֹ֖א יִדְבַּ֣ק בִּֽ/י

A froward heart shall depart from me, I will not knowe a wicked person.

GenevaA froward heart shall depart from me: I will knowe none euill.

לֵבָ֣ב עִ֭קֵּשׁ יָס֣וּר מִמֶּ֑/נִּי רָ֝֗ע לֹ֣א אֵדָֽע

Whoso priuily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high looke, and a proud heart, will not I suffer.

GenevaHim that priuily slandereth his neighbour, wil I destroy: him that hath a proude looke and hie heart, I cannot suffer.

מלושני בַ/סֵּ֨תֶר רֵעֵ/הוּ֮ אוֹת֪/וֹ אַ֫צְמִ֥ית גְּֽבַהּ עֵ֭ינַיִם וּ/רְחַ֣ב לֵבָ֑ב אֹ֝ת֗/וֹ לֹ֣א אוּכָֽל

Mine eyes shall be vpon the faithfull of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serue me.

GenevaMine eyes shalbe vnto the faithfull of the lande, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfite way, he shall serue me.

עֵינַ֤/י בְּ/נֶֽאֶמְנֵי אֶרֶץ֮ לָ/שֶׁ֪בֶת עִמָּ֫דִ֥/י הֹ֭לֵךְ בְּ/דֶ֣רֶךְ תָּמִ֑ים ה֝֗וּא יְשָׁרְתֵֽ/נִי

He that worketh deceit, shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarie in my sight.

GenevaThere shall no deceitful person dwell within mine house: he that telleth lyes, shall not remaine in my sight.

לֹֽא יֵשֵׁ֨ב בְּ/קֶ֥רֶב בֵּיתִ/י֮ עֹשֵׂ֪ה רְמִ֫יָּ֥ה דֹּבֵ֥ר שְׁקָרִ֑ים לֹֽא יִ֝כּ֗וֹן לְ/נֶ֣גֶד עֵינָֽ/י

I will earely destroy all the wicked of the land: that I may cut off all wicked doers from the citie of the LORD.

GenevaBetimes will I destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the workers of iniquitie from the Citie of the Lord.

לַ/בְּקָרִ֗ים אַצְמִ֥ית כָּל רִשְׁעֵי אָ֑רֶץ לְ/הַכְרִ֥ית מֵֽ/עִיר יְ֝הוָ֗ה כָּל פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן
